This role supports a leading Layer 1 blockchain project focused on redefining performance and scalability in the Web3 space. As the Social Media Lead, you will shape the public voice and cultural identity of a high-performance Layer 1 blockchain across global digital platforms. You’ll be responsible for developing creative campaigns, driving engagement, and amplifying the brand’s presence through impactful storytelling. This position involves close collaboration with internal teams and external partners to bring the ecosystem’s mission to life through content.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor emerging social and cultural trends, with a focus on crypto-native storytelling and platform-specific strategies.
- Lead the creation and execution of social media content across platforms including X (Twitter), TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Discord.
- Partner with influencers, developers, and community leaders to co-create engaging content such as videos, memes, and campaign assets.
- Write compelling copy and design creative frameworks that reflect the project’s tone and narrative across product and brand campaigns.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure campaign messaging aligns with overall product goals and community strategy.
- Develop and refine internal playbooks and SOPs to streamline team collaboration and campaign execution.
- Launch and scale go-to-market strategies for key product releases through impactful and timely social media activations.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience managing and growing brand presence across major social platforms (especially X, TikTok, Instagram, Discord).
- A strong grasp of meme culture, internet trends, and how they intersect with the Web3/crypto ecosystem.
- Excellent storytelling and creative writing abilities, especially for short-form content.
- A proactive and strategic mindset with a high level of ownership.
- Solid project management skills with the ability to handle multiple campaigns at once.
- Working knowledge of design tools such as Canva or Figma.
- Strong communication skills in English (both written and spoken).
- Flexible and resilient problem solver who thrives in fast-paced digital environments.
- Deep interest in blockchain and a sound understanding of crypto-related communities and terminology.
Bonus Qualifications:
- Experience working with or inside a blockchain foundation or major financial institution.
- Track record of building engaged social communities around a Layer 1 protocol or major DeFi initiative.
- Network of influencers and creators within the crypto or tech space.
