Engineering Manager About
An opportunity to join a leading interoperability protocol, who are looking for an engineering manager to join their ranks. The Engineering Manager will focus on chain integrations, working closely with Engineering to formalize and execute an integration and scaling plan for key blockchains and L2 stacks.
This role requires strong technical knowledge, an ability to mentor and guide a team effectively alongside proven experience in an engineering & management role within web3.
Responsibilities
- Expand network compatibility by driving integrations with both EVM-compatible and non-EVM blockchain systems.
- Innovate methods to streamline and accelerate the integration process for new blockchains.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers, cultivating an environment of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business development and marketing, to prioritize and reassess blockchain integration initiatives.
- Uphold high standards for code quality, testing, and development methodologies, with a strong focus on security and scalability.
- Conduct design and code reviews, providing technical guidance and constructive feedback.
- Support team members’ career growth through regular one-on-one meetings, performance evaluations, and personalized coaching.
Qualifications
- 7-8+ years in software development, with 2+ years in a managerial or lead role within Web3.
- Experience managing integrations for exchanges or custodians is a big plus.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, and grow a team of engineers, balancing technical oversight with team mentorship.
Salary & Location
- The engineering team is roughly 10 engineers
- The role is based in EST (Eastern Standard Time) or CET (Central European Time) timezone
- This is a fully remote role, with the engineering team spread across the globe
- The salary range goes up to $200k+ for an exceptional candidate
